About Us
This is a family-owned business. The owner is a retired physician from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The owner was a former active staff member of several hospitals in the Dallas area. The owner also ran a coding and billing business while in clinical practice. He was also a former surgeon who was board-certified in his specialty. After 30 years of clinical practice, he sold his practice and went into coding full-time. He holds the following certifications through the AAPC: CPC, CPB, CPCO, COSC, CANPC, CPCD, CRHC, CFPC, CPMA. The owner is also a Forensic Medical Coder. He has over 35 years of medical experience.
The owner’s wife is a registered nurse with a Master Degree in Business and Human Relations. My wife was born in Brooklyn, New York. She obtained her RN degree from Queens College. She has had many years of medical-surgical nursing experience having worked in West Jersey Hospital. She used to be a discharge planning coordinator for a major hospital in the Dallas metroplex for many years. She was also a former employee of one of the Medicare Administrative Contractors doing Part A medical review, Benefits Integrity (now called Fraud and Abuse) and a CMD Project Facilitator. She still has many contacts, who are also former employees at CMS.
The owner’s son is an RN with a Masters Degree in Nursing Education and currently Board Certified in Medical Surgical Nursing. He is an emergency room nurse by training having worked in a Level 1 trauma center in the Dallas Metroplex for many years. He is also an RRT Nurse (Rapid Response Team) having participated in many codes over the years. He is currently a house supervisor in a hospital in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
Together we have over 150 years of medical experience. There are not many other similar auditing, coding and compliance businesses whose owners have this many years of medical experience to this degree.
